The kids are going back to school this week-can I get an Amen! This transition, although exciting, effects their sleep routine, exposes them to different germs and may cause some anxiety. Here are a powerful line up of oils that with help your family through this transition.
Onguard & Frankincense - 10 drops each in 10ml roller w/FCO
My go-to for immunity support in our house. This powerhouse combo will boost your immunity system and combat whatever comes in their way. I apply to my kids feet and/or spine every morning and every night. This most important part is being consistent!
Peppermint & Wild Orange - Diffuse in the morning
Wake up and feel energized, happy and ready to go to school.
Calm those Nerves
Balance & Wild Orange / Balance & Lavender (or Serenity) - 5 drops each in 10ml roller w/FCO
New school year, new class room, new, new, new....it can cause some nervous and anxious feelings in both the kids and you! Roll down the spine, over the heart or my favorite...roll in your palms and inhale deeply.
My Tummy Hurts
DigestZen - 1 drop with FCO
I know all you mama's have heard the phrase "Mom, my tummy hurts!" a million and one times. Meet DigestZen, your new best friend, who helps with all things tummy. I put one drop of DigestZen with FCO in my palm and rub on my kids belly. This bottle usually disappears onto my husband's side of the bathroom. He applies 1-2 drops neat onto stomach when needed.
Peppermint & Rosemary - Diffuse
Homework...This combo is perfect for maintaining concentration and supporting memory as your children dives into new school work.
Lavender & Cedarwood - Diffuse or apply topically
Just when you though the day was coming to an end....the school time bedroom routine will make its appearance. If your kids are like mine, they stayed up way too late during the summer and will not love the idea of going to bed before the sun goes down. Give me all the calming and sleep oils!!!!
We diffuse Lavender (or Serenity) and Cedarwood in the kids bedrooms every night. During these transitional times I make a rollerball (5-8 drops each w/FCO) and apply to their spine before bed. You can also make a pillow spray (5 drops each and fill with water or witch hazel) and spray their pillow or blanket.
